make mistakes

Make mistakes - why did this happen to me?

Everybody makes mistakes now and then, after all we are not machines. Especially in the job you try to act very confident and to avoid any small mistakes - this can not always succeed.

If an accident does happen, you should try to act correctly - otherwise you often make the situation even more complicated than it already is.

1. Keep a cool head!
There is no point in quarreling with your own situation and constantly asking yourself why you made such a mistake - happened happened. The faster you recognize your own mistake, the faster you can start working on a solution.

2. Take responsibility
In such a case, a really bad decision would be not to admit the mistake, but to try and blame someone else. It usually comes out pretty quickly the truth and you do not want to be exposed as a liar in addition. Therefore, right from the start, tell the truth and take responsibility.

3. Learn from mistakes
It is important now to take the "negative" experience of your own mishap, and to generate something "positive" from it. At best, one has learned something new from it and does not commit the same mistake again. After all, to do something wrong lies in the nature of man.

The error culture in your own company

The term error culture is now often heard in articles or blogs. The term refers to how companies and their employees deal with errors. Are false actions simply silenced, blamed on other employees, openly addressed or even discussed in meetings?
There are many different ways in which a company can handle these situations. It is essential to know for yourself how your own company deals with mistakes in order to be able to react accordingly, you should make a mishap yourself. The situation can also be used to revolutionize the culture of mistakes in the company. Then, however, should also find a suitable contact person in the management level, which supports the project.

Mistakes are important!

No master has fallen from the sky yet. Because of this, it is completely normal to do something wrong every now and then - it can only improve you.
The key to success lies in concentrated work - if this is no longer possible, a small break must be taken.
After that it may not continue without error, but better than before.
