Review the day

Reflect on the day spent and take 5-10 minutes to think about the most recent positive and negative experiences. You can do this in written or verbal form, it is also helpful to review the day in peace and quiet. In this way, the past can be processed and recurring errors are avoided.

Preparation is everything

In order to guarantee a good start to the morning, it is helpful to make preparations in the evening. Make sure that your essential materials for the next day, such as work materials or sportswear, are fully prepared to avoid unnecessary stress. It can also be beneficial to think about clothing and breakfast the evening before. Not only does this make it easier to start the day, it also helps maintain a relaxed mood before bed.

Self-care - self-care

Take care of yourself! Self-care means taking care of yourself. This can be done in a variety of ways before going to bed, for example taking a bath, applying face creams or simply reading a book in peace. Self-sufficiency promotes general health and hygienic well-being. In this case, it includes not only the physical condition, but also the psychological, emotional and social components aspects of a person.

Schedule sleep

Certain behaviors and habits can have a more or less favorable effect on the ability to sleep. These include the sleeping environment (e.g. noise), atmosphere, lifestyle, stress but also the state of health. In order to guarantee a relaxed sleep, avoid caffeinated drinks, alcohol and heavy food in the evening. It is advisable not to store electronic devices near the bed. Try to fade out the negative thoughts at the latest in the last hour and focus on the positive!

Those who spend too much time tomorrow's problems at night are too tired to solve them the next day.
