Tips for a relaxed start after the holiday

Tips for a relaxed start after the holiday

Have you had a wonderful holiday, were you able to completely leave your work behind and are you completely relaxed?

But even the best time of the year goes by and the recovery usually fades away just a few hours after returning to work.

Here are 10 tips on how to prevent this

Come back from vacation in time

Make sure you can enjoy a day at home between your return and the first day of work.

Skilfully choose the start of work.

We recommend Wednesday or Thursday. So you can do the most important things, but will soon have a rest of two days.

Lie on your vacation notice!

Include an extra day on your vacation notice. This means that you can process your emails in peace on the first day and are not immediately bombarded with phone calls.

Create a "Todo" list!

Arrange your tasks according to urgency and then work through your list. In addition, every chopper is a small success.

Have lunch with your colleagues

Although you don't have much time today, the exchange with colleagues is extremely important. Firstly, you have to be informed about all professional changes and secondly, you also have to know about the latest gossip. 😀

Take a small holiday souvenir with you for your colleagues

Thank you for the holiday agency and of course motivate you to do the same on your next vacation.

Take a little souvenir ...

... take your vacation to the office with you and put it in your field of vision. (or desktop background)

Don't try to "tear out trees" on the first day

Your body is no longer used to this type of work - do not accelerate from 0 to 100.

Think positive!

There is no point in thinking about how many emails are waiting for you in the mailbox the day before. Because a positive basic attitude helps to master challenges.

Book…

or think about your next vacation!

We hope you also had a wonderful holiday and, thanks to our tips, can now get off to a good start.
