Turn perfectionism off

Get rid of the thought of having to do everything perfectly and please everyone. You only grind yourself. Do your best, but without sacrificing yourself.

Don't take work home

You should only do work from home or take it home with you in an absolute emergency. In most cases, however, things have time until the next day. So give it a try and "move" agendas to tomorrow.

"Shake off" thoughts of work in the evening

On the way home, give yourself conscious moments to pause. Use z. For example, driving or walking home helps you to let go of work and "shake it off" at the doorstep at the latest. Now you have finished work, you will take care of everything else tomorrow!

Create a to-do list

Make a daily, weekly and / or monthly schedule with upcoming tasks. Use your resources sparingly and don't frustrate yourself with a daily mountain of tasks that you can't do anyway. Set priorities!

Have a cup of tea

There's something cozy about drinking a cup of tea. That is why a warm tea is also well suited to relieve stress. In addition to the variety, the way in which you drink the tea is particularly important: a tea that is drunk while standing up will hardly provide more relaxation. Instead, consciously take a few minutes, sit comfortably on the sofa or in front of the desk and enjoy the warm drink in a targeted manner. Tea blends with lemon balm, hops or lavender are ideal for relaxing.

Sufficient sleep

Nothing is more important than recharging your batteries. The best way to do this is to get enough sleep. So don't try to sit in front of the TV until 12 in the evening. So you start the next day rested and fit. A healthy night's sleep allows body and mind to regenerate and reduce stress.

accept help

No one can always do everything on their own and nobody has to be constantly available. So take the offer from your colleague to relieve you of minor tasks. You will see that your to-do list will not seem so long to you. This leaves you more time for more important tasks.

Try out one of our pieces of advice and consciously integrate it into your everyday work. After that you can always add new points step by step. But don't make too many changes at once, as this can in turn lead to stress.
