Early detection
The earlier a conflict is recognized and addressed, the better it is for everyone involved. The main cause of conflicts is often only misunderstandings, which can be prevented by regular discussions with colleagues. By early detection, conflicts can be mitigated immediately.

Don't go out of your way
Everyone is unique in their own way. Different values and views sometimes lead to conflicts automatically. You should therefore always try to avoid conflicts, especially when it comes to work colleagues. Just because disagreements are not addressed does not mean that there is harmony in a team. Conflicts can involuntarily boil up due to unspoken topics and lead to unsightly situations in the office. Starting with small taunts and provocations in the team, right up to refusal to provide information or even incorrect information, everything is possible.

Control your own behavior
If you yourself are involved in a conflict, your own behavior can make a positive contribution to de-escalation. It is always easier to blame someone else, so you should look at yourself first.
If the conflict has not yet escalated, it is possible to develop solutions. You should try to incorporate and respect the opinions and wishes of everyone involved. New solutions can be created through compromises, with which everyone is reasonably satisfied. That also means being willing to make small compromises, which can result in a win-win situation for everyone.

Chances of a successful conflict resolution
Solving conflicts can do a lot of good for a company or team. In general, current problems come to light and can be discussed. Conflicts also create clarity about what is currently not working properly in a company or team. By working through conflicts and developing solutions, changes are created. Changes in processes, attitudes or new members can create new opportunities for the company or a team. If the conflict is successfully resolved, the team can calmly resume work and, among other things, work better together on the common tasks.

An open and appreciative conflict culture within a company should be communicated to all employees. Thus, using the steps described, conflicts can be resolved more quickly and the work can be done successfully.
