The morning routine - start the day successfully

"The first hour of the morning is the rudder of the day"

St. Aurelius Augustus

A well-organized morning routine forms the basis for a successful day at work. Make the time after you wake up proactively if you want to start the day more confident, more enthusiastic and full of energy.

How do you get a good start to the day?

It often takes 21 days to develop a routine. A structure can be the key element here to start the day well-versed.

Tips for a perfect start to the day

Preparation

It is important to plan the day well! It is therefore advisable to have the morning routine in mind the day before and to be prepared. This already starts, for example, with the daily choice of clothes, which should already be ready for the day. Breakfast should also be prepared in advance, as after a substantial meal the brain can work much better and is ready for the day.

Keep the environment clean

Having a clean environment isn't directly related to a morning routine, but it goes a long way towards getting the day off to a positive start. If you get annoyed in the morning about a messy apartment, then you start the day with a negative and frustrated attitude.

Awaken the body

Drink a glass of water and breathe fresh air after getting up to get your circulation going. Small sports units such as yoga or body stretching also help to awaken the body.

Integrate the morning routine permanently into everyday life

  • Repeat the behavior regularly

The more often you incorporate the morning routine, the simpler and easier it becomes.

  • Give yourself enough time

Don't be too strict with yourself. Leave time for the routine and don't overwhelm yourself.

  • Develop the routine

In order to permanently adapt the morning routine to your needs, deal with your activities from time to time. With a well-designed morning routine, you will notice after a few days that you are starting the day more focused and experienced.

Good luck!
