Burnout prevention

However, this disease can be prevented very well. Learn to say "no"! Relax, grab a good book or play sports or yoga as a balance. A good work-life balance is very important in this day and age. Adequate sleep and a healthy diet contribute a lot to a healthy body and mind, because only when you sleep enough can the body regenerate overnight and the energy for the next day is assured. More about a good evening routine can be found in this blog, Fast food and unhealthy eating robs the body of a lot of energy, so you should have a light meal especially in the evening.

Symptoms of burnout

The first step is the acceptance of the excessive demands as well as a conversation with the employer and the partner. How or how do you know that you are suffering from burnout or are already ill? There are many different symptoms but basically this makes your body feel it. Significant warning signs are, for example, fatigue, irritability, muscle tension, feeling weak as well as the feeling of inner emptiness and frustration.

Reintegration after a burnout

Is there a return to a burnout? Yes, that's it! Nice and slow and with a lot of patience you can reintegrate into the company. The reintegration into the job must be clearly discussed with the employer. Often you start with a lower number of weekly hours and work slowly back into the company. A serious mistake, however, can be to return to work too fast. A relapse is usually the result. Of course, not only the reduced hours to be considered but also the respective tasks. If you are under constant stress because you hear your phone ringing, have the cell phone or the phone system forwarded to another colleague.
